Truss quantities
You are holding a Buildable Layouts truss layout. Because we did the design, we already hold the quantities for it: the timber, the plates and the fixings.
Rather than re-deriving the job in your own software just to price it, tell us the job number and we will send you the quantities.
What you will need
- The job number. It is in the title block of the layout, beside “Job Reference”, and looks like J024704. It is the only thing we need to find the job.
- Your email. The price and the report both come back to it.
- Your company. Useful, not required.
How it works
- You send the job number. The form above. That is the whole ask.
- We confirm we hold the quantities for that job and email you a price, usually the same working day.
- You pay by card. We send a secure payment link. Nothing is charged before you have seen the price.
- We send the report.
What is in the report
- Timber, by size and grade, with the total cubic metres, which is what most fabricators price the truss component on.
- Nailplates, listed with both Pryda and MiTek codes.
- Truss tie-downs and general connectors, again in both systems.
Substitution between the two is normal and accepted in this industry, so it does not matter which plate system your plant runs.
Quantities are provided for estimating. The truss design for manufacture remains the fabricator's own.
